5 million fee could reflect the fact no big money clubs have come in for him so Arsenal may be willing to sell him at a loss just to get him off the wage bill. Plus any clubs that are interested may be more ready to match his current Arsenal salary.

At what point has anyone from Arsenal showed OR lodged an interest in Jovetic, yes he would be a great addition but is he the out and out goal scorer we need.
Our present attacking options deliver a better return then his figures show, but he is quality and would certainly be a good false 9 providing we had an RVP type player for him to feed and run off!
I think its a wishful thought that has gathered momentum and the reality is, he isn't coming to the Emirates. I would sooner invest in Isco at 30 million!
Higuain on the other hand seems more plausable because of the type of player he is and he fits our needs, especially at around 20 million, steep but affordable unlike Falcao and Cavani etc...
We will probably end up with a player that we know nothing about (10 to 15 mil mark) who plays in the Mongolian league..
Hoping to be surprised!
Higuain or Benteke/Capoue or Gonalons/Abate or Corchia and Valdes or Cesar.
I would like Hummels too but that's being greedy...LOL

I to am bored with the british press and agents giving snippets which just fuels the situation.
If the guy wants to stay in Italy fine , I would have liked to see him at Arsenal but not at any silly price , also as far as I am concerned wether we have a massive budget or not, I want players who want to come not mercanries, if that means staying with the present team plus a few replacemants/back ups so be it. Lets face it based on the last 12 games we would have had 90 odd points and won the league,

His market value, according to transfermarkt is £16m so I dunno where they've got £5m from. I can actually see him going though. Apart from him not playing well this season, I'm wondering if there was another reason why AW dropped him. We all know how close he was to RvP - maybe he's put in a transfer request?

This is also not true, why would you try and secure a player under a long term contract only to allow for an easy buyout clause? 46m is no-where near enough to keep him on a long term. That's just ridiculous! Anyway how have you got transfer info on many clubs? The only people who know are Spurs boss, legal staff, Bale, Bales agent, family and advisor's all of whom are bound by confidentiality. So don't talk crap, none of these people will tell any of the details of a contract until it's been officially released as a statement. So try not to talk crap, there's already far too many people doing it.

This is not true. I am Arsenal fan but with access to transfer information at many clubs. Bale is staying and has shaken hands with Levy on an improved pay deal £135000 per week, with a buyout clause of £46m.
This rumour comes from RM, who are trying to persuade Spurs to sell this year.

Actually Pires never played for that Indian club. It was a proposed tournament for which these clubs were created, but it never got the approval and thus the clubs exist only on paper (and by the looks of it, Facebook). So Pires never became the first frenchman to play in India. Sigh
